ABOUT LITZ PISK: Litz Pisk as widely regarded as the most influential teacher of modern theatre movement of the 20th century.  She innovated and advocated a physical training that sought to combine awareness, emotion and imagination specifically for the actor’s craft.  Arriving in the UK from Vienna in the 1930’s, Pisk started her working life drawing cartoons for a variety of publications and it wasn’t long before she was also teaching movement, first at RADA, then at Bristol Old Vic and at Central where she worked alongside her long-term friend and collaborator George Hall.

'Once you start working with someone like Litz you don’t ever want to stop if you can help it.'
