Sally Mackey Bursaries
The Sally Mackey Bursaries were created in 2023 in the name of Professor Sally Mackey to honour her achievements in the field of Applied Theatre, including 31 years at Central, and prompted by her deep understanding of student need. We are grateful to donors to the Fund, including Professor Mackey and many alumni and friends of the Teaching, Education and Applied Theatre courses.

About Sally Mackey
On 30 September 2023 Central held a Celebration of the Teaching, Education and Applied Theatre courses, welcoming back graduates dating back to 1962. Many graduates donated to the Sally Mackey Bursary Fund at that time and, on her retirement, Professor Mackey encouraged staff and friends to make a contribution to the Fund instead of a leaving present.
