Short Course

Drawing on Central’s specialist knowledge of actor training and the voice, we offer a wide range of communication courses, from Presentation Skills and Storytelling to Body Language and Vocal Impact.

Our practical communication courses are designed for teams and individuals and are led by experienced Voice and Communication Coaches. Each course can be delivered either at your office or online.

Meet the Team

Anthony Bell

Anthony is the Business & Enterprise Manager at Central.

Carla Collins

Carla gained her MA in Voice Studies at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and has been working for the business programmes at Central since graduating.

Ingrid Gray

Ingrid has been working as a voice and accent coach throughout the UK and internationally since graduating from Royal Central School and Speech and Drama with an MA in Voice studies in 2005.

Jake Harders

Jake trained at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where he gained a Distinction on the BA Acting Course.

Emmy Broomfield

Emmy specialises in practical voice and has a particular interest in working with clients to hone their presence and personal impact, as well as helping clients to maintain a healthy voice.

Debra Leigh

Debra has been coaching at Central since completing the MA Voice course in 2011.

Rachel Ley

Rachel Ley is a Vocal Speaker Coach for companies and individuals, and Creative Producer for the live and hybrid event industry.

Barry Fitzgerald (he/they) is a director, maker and performer. A visiting lecturer at Central since 2012, Barry has worked on projects with the Almeida, ArtsEd, Barbican, Complicité, Gendered Intelligence, Hackney Shed, Leeds Playhouse, Lyric Hammersmith, Mountview, National Theatre, Royal Court and Unicorn Theatre among others.
