Central in collaboration with UEL presents ‘Clarity of Communication’

Originally delivered as a face-to-face course, Clarity of Communication was adapted for online delivery. We designed two distinct pathways, one for lecturers and one for administrative and support staff so that they could focus on their specific contexts.

Over four 90 minute workshops, participants practically explored how to incorporate performance techniques including breath, voice, and body language to increase vocal clarity and impact in presentations, lectures, and meetings. All participants had the chance to deliver a short presentation and receive individual feedback from a qualified voice and communication coach.

Course Objectives:

  • Increase awareness of vocal style and habits

  • Explore articulation & vocal technique

  • Learn how to alter volume, tone, and intonation to improve clarity

  • Discover tools to increase vocal flexibility

  • Use the body, voice, and performance techniques to inspire & engage your audience

  • Increase confidence and find your authentic communication style

  • Incorporate performance techniques to increase the impact of your communication

  • Receive individual feedback & action points
