Rachel Ley

MA
Job title
Voice & Communication Coach

Profile

She has an MA in Voice Studies; Teaching & Coaching from The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama.

Originally trained as an actress at Mountview Theatre School in London, Rachel worked as an actress in the West End before ‘falling’ into events and communication for business.

Now, with over 30 years commercial business experience and as an award winning Producer, Rachel has been coaching business speakers using her theatrical training, working with organisations such as EY Global Services, Black Marble, Inntel, UCL, Openreach, LBG, DCIF (Defined Contribution Investment Forum) as well as many individual clients.  She has designed and delivered multiple commercial pitches and briefings to businesses and coached first-hand the positive effect of breaking down ‘business-blandness’ and making presentations hang from an authentic voice.  In a conference setting, Rachel works with speakers to own their space and time on stage taking care of the minutia of stage management detail to ensure the experience is a positive one, both for audience and presenter.

With a passion for wellbeing, Rachel believes that with a little more awareness, we can all optimize our own natural resources to feel better about speaking. In general.
