Biography

Celeste is a movement director / coach and choreographer, specialising in sports related coaching and actor sports and physical training.

She is a graduate in BA (Hons) Contemporary Performance Practice, RCSSD in which she trained in devising and creating theatre, mostly through movement. During her studies she also qualified as a personal trainer and fitness coach. She aims to apply her anatomical knowledge and expertise to creating theatre and a safe, hard-working environment for the actors. Celeste trained in contemporary and ballet in Salsa, Bachata and Merengue. She sees herself as a collaborative choreographer, actively working to create choreography with text and to music. Her focus is to celebrate performers in their discovery of inner movement in the creation of choreography based on their rhythm and bodies.
