Trapped in a bloody cycle of murder and revenge, Electra, haunted by her father’s death,
is overcome with grief and a thirst for vengeance – at the price of her mother’s life.
This radical new retelling – set in the present day – will see The Company explore the
spectacle and ritual of female mourning, as well as the weaponisation of grief as Electra is
made an outcast on the outskirts of her community.
