Central Party in Edinburgh 2022

Join us for this year’s Central Party in Edinburgh

We are delighted to announce that we will be returning to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year, and invite our students, alumni and staff attending the Festival to join us for our annual Central Party in Edinburgh on Thursday 11 August, from 5-7pm, at Assembly George Square Studios’ Club Bar.

This year’s celebration will be the first hosted by Central’s Principal, Josette Bushell-Mingo OBE, who shares these words:

“I look forward to welcoming all members of the Central community who will be in Edinburgh this year for the Fringe to this very special event - and to meeting many of you in person for the first time.  This is a chance for us to celebrate and promote the work presented by our students, alumni and staff. Having performed there myself, I have fond memories. Also, as the world’s largest arts festival celebrates its 75th birthday, this is an opportunity to come together and reflect on the impact that our community has had on the Festival since its very beginning”.

Location of Assembly’s Club Bar

Assembly’s Club Bar is located in the glass cubed building opposite the main entrance to George Square Gardens. Enter the building via the glass cube entrance, taking the stairs to the lower level, (there’s a lift for wheelchair users, if required). Once on the lower level, you’ll see the Studio Bar directly in front of you - the VIP Club Bar is located directly behind this and can be accessed via the doors to the left of the Studio Bar.
