Recipient of the Sylvia Bodmer Memorial Award for Choreological Studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance 2022.

Biography

Meadhbh is a movement director, choreographer and movement teacher from Ireland, now based in London.

She studied Drama, Theatre and Performing Studies in Galway, Ireland, where she worked freelance as a dance teacher and choreographer. She moved to London in 2021 to complete a Graduate Certificate in Dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. There, she developed a keen interest in Laban technique and the study of movement. 

Meadhbh is a passionate about collaboration and is an advocate for movement and the body as storyteller. With training in a wide range of dance and movement styles, her practice promotes technique and style as well as celebrating the freedom and expression of the individual and ensemble.
