2023 Movement Tutor, The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, MA Acting - Contemporary. While on placement under the mentorship of Anna Healey, supporting the MA Acting students for a term through warm ups, contact work and the Laban motion factors

2023 Movement Tutor, Mountview, BA Actors. Hannah undertook external placement under mentorship of Ruth Naylor Smith and Sachi Kimura. She taught animal studies to first year actors and provided movement support for a post graduate showcase.

2023 Movement Director, Mountview, Dance Nation. Hannah is currently working as Movement Assistant on Dance Nation, a public performance of the Post Graduate actors. 

2023, Intimacy Director, Spick and Span. Hannah choreographed the intimacy of film Spick and Span and provided regular company check ins. 

As a Movement Director/Creator/Company Director

2023 Movement Direction/Creator, Clara, Director Alice Fitzgerald. Awarded Arts Council Funding for her new play Clara. The process involved collaborating with a team including Deaf Talent Collective, Intimacy On Set and Artists Well-being.

2023 Movement Assistant, The World Moves Me and I Move The World, Movement Director Phoebe Stapleton (currently MFA Movement: Directing and Teaching). Worked closely with the creator to facilitate a collaborative and inclusive space for a moving tour. Hannah is now a member of the production team and is involved in supporting the next stage of production.

2022 Company Director, Utopia, Hackney Youth. Facilitated boundary workshops with the youth group as foundation to her practice and went on to collaboratively guide the company in forming the world of the play, devising and writing characters specifically for the cast of 11.

2022 Company Director, The Void, Hackney Youth. Choreographed the staged violence and formed a repetitive movement language that spoke to the themes of the play such as incarceration, rebellion and adrenaline.

2022 Creator, Crowning, Short Film, Director Alexander Jeremy. Choreographed the movement in the dance scene and formulated research of a pregnant body.

2021 Company Director, Paradox, Hackney Youth. Led well-being and de-rolling workshops with the company as a foundation to the work, as well as exploring how we can make fictional work safely. Led check ins and check out and facilitated movement moments of intimacy.

As a Movement Teacher/Tutor

2023 Acting Tutor, Mountview, Acting Foundation. Hannah teaches on a freelance basis at Mountview with the Acting Foundation students.

Biography

Hannah is a London-based movement director, writer, voiceover artist and performer from North London. Through her three years at drama school training as an actor, her appreciation and love for movement was integral to her practice. Hannah is passionate about communication, bodies in a space and creating a potent and yet nuanced language in which performers can exist. Hannah strives to dismantle the hierarchy of space to create a ‘brave’ space in which performers can freely explore work in a supported environment.
