Margaret is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music. She took masterclasses with Birgit Neilson at the International Bereton Symposium in 1993, as well as with Geoffrey Parsons, Martin Isepp and Paul Hamburger. She has also studied with Professor David Pollard at the Guildhall School of Music.
Margaret now focuses on teaching singing, including masterclasses and is on the list of teachers that may be recommended to students who have had consultation lessons at the Guildhall. She specialises in finding a free voice production through good use of breath control and though classically based, her work can be adapted to suit any style. Her students find benefits both vocally and in general confidence.
