Following the recent UK Government announcement made on 4 January 2021 of a new national lockdown, Central’s campus will remain closed for on-site teaching provision until at least mid-February.

Teaching for the Spring term will start online, and Course Leaders and Course Teams will be in touch with students shortly with further information about specific courses.

The UK Government is advising students to remain where they are wherever possible. Students who are already at their term time address should not move back and forth between their permanent home and student home during term time.

This action is being taken in direct response to the UK Government’s guidance for Universitieswhich was issued on 4 January 2021.

We will continue to publish regular updates as we receive additional guidance from the UK Government.

Central students and staff should continue to notify the School of any symptoms, test results, or self-isolation periods.

Central continues to participate in the University of London’s mass COVID-19 testing scheme; however, Central advises that students and staff should delay booking their appointments until a return to campus date has been confirmed.  Existing appointments can be cancelled by following the link in the booking confirmation email and can be rebooked for a later date on the University of London’s Test and Trace website.
