At Central we put your future career at the heart of everything we do, and when you leave, you’ll be a specialist in your subject – with the preparation you’ll need to get work in a fast-moving performing arts industry.
You can meet us in a number of ways - every year we hold open days dedicated to specific subjects and levels of study, plus auditions and interviews in the UK, USA, South America, Australia and Singapore.
Whether you come to train or to study at Central you will be part of a distinctively energetic learning environment, where the practical intensity of conservatoire training and the innovation and enquiry of a university meet.
Central aims to train and educate its students to high levels of ability, through specialist courses that prepare them to shape the theatre and performance of tomorrow.
Our students are at the heart of everything that we do at Central, and independent research says they're satisfied with their student experience. Student support at Central is provided by the Student Advice Service and the Learning Centre.
Central’s Students’ Union aims to bring students together to form a vibrant community and to represent the student voice.
However you choose to organise your accommodation, Central’s Student Advice Service can point you in the right direction every step of the way.
In this section you can find information on tuition fees, student loans, scholarships, bursaries and help on managing your finances.
We welcome students from outside the UK to Central and support them throughout their time with us.
