Undergraduate Open Day

This Open Day gives you the chance to explore Central in depth. The event is divided into our three Undergraduate degree areas:

BA (Hons) Acting** which includes the following courses:

• Acting
• Acting: Musical Theatre
• Acting: Collaborative and Devised Theatre

**Please note that the BA (Hons) Acting strand of the Open Day is now fully booked and there are no tickets for this available.

BA (Hons) Contemporary Performance Practice which includes the following courses:

• Drama, Applied Theatre and Education
• Experimental Arts and Performance
• Writing for Performance

BA (Hons) Theatre Practice which includes the following courses:

• Costume Construction
• Design for Performance
• Lighting Design
• Production Lighting
• Prop Making
• Scenic Painting for stage and Screen
• Set Construction for Stage and Screen
• Sound Design and Production
• Stage Management and Technical Theatre

You’ll receive a warm welcome and introduction from our staff, take a tour of the facilities, attend Course Talks and Taster Sessions and see demonstrations of students’ work.

In our Student Experience sessions you’ll learn everything from how to submit an application to the student wellbeing services we have available and how accommodation works, so you can get planning.

Plus, you’ll hear directly from the Central community including our wonderful Student Union about life as a student at Central.

Please book ONE ticket for the degree area you are most interested in. You do not need to book additional tickets for parents or guardians you would like to bring along. 

Tickets for the BA (Hons) Acting strand of this event are now fully booked and there are no tickets for this available.

If you have a ticket, you will be invited to book a place at an interactive taster session nearer the time of the Open Day. Tickets for taster sessions will be limited and allocated on a first come first served basis.
