Form(at) Festival 2021: Performance for the Present

The Form(at) Festival celebrates the exciting and innovative work made by MA/MFA Advanced Theatre Practice students at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. The COVID-19 pandemic is still here, and has influenced this year’s festival in many ways. We learned to work remotely when necessary, and seized the opportunity to share a space when it was possible. This is the second year we’re collaborating with Camden People’s Theatre to present Form(at) Festival. Responding to an ever-changing environment, these intrepid students are exploring new performance forms and reimagining their encounters with the audience – Come and share this unique present moment with us.

Course team: Lynne Kendrick, Nohar Lazarovich, Anna Smith, Jane Munro, Alan Fielden, Maja Milatovic-Ovadia.

MA/MFA Advanced Theatre Practice is focused on contemporary collaborative practices, challenging and reimagining the roles of performer, director, writer, designer, dramaturg, musician, puppeteer and creative thinker in new and unexpected ways within a supportive environment of discovery and innovation. For more information visit: www.formatfestival.co.uk
