Professor Anne Bogart: Leverhulme Lecture - Movement Philosophy for the Stage.

In this second Leverhulme Lecture, Anne Bogart will examine the many influences upon Bogart’s directing, including her work with the choreographer Mary Overlie in the 1970s, the Viewpoints and its historical connections to the rise of postmodern dance in the 1960s, the innovations in the downtown performance scene of New York City as well as influences from artists in Japan, France and Germany.
