Tell us about yourself!

I’m an Irish/Australian actor and writer currently residing in Melbourne, Australia and moving over to the UK once safe to do so! I’ve been training within the industry since 2009, but kicked off my professional career as an actor last year working in theatre, online projects and a Norwegian feature film. Average height, blue eyes and a winning personality.

How did you find out about Short Courses at Central?

I was looking at refining my screen acting and writing skills and knew of Central’s opportunities to develop in these spaces. After a bit of desktop research I stumbled across the short courses!

What was your main reason for taking a Short Course?

I had heard great things about the School’s approach and wanted to build networks ahead of moving to the UK. After creating a series of comedy sketches during lockdown I decided to set myself a challenge and write a full length production. The writing for solo performers short course was an amazing fit in terms of getting guidance on refining the script and receiving feedback.

What was your experience on the course?

Loved every one of them! Got some incredibly valuable insights and tips on how to take my work to the next level and how to continue developing my craft. Each tutor was knowledgeable, approachable and helpful. I highly recommend all three of the courses I undertook!
