Jess trained at East 15 Acting School on the BA Acting and Contemporary Theatre course.
Since embarking on the MA course, Jess has begun work with The Royal Court, as the Movement Director for the Young Court's largest scale project for 20 years, Katzenmusik, which will be performed in August 2017 at The Royal Court. Jess is also working as the Movement Director for the site specific production of Hamlet at East 15, directed by Tony Bell of Propeller Theatre.
Jess made her Movement Directing debut with Kuleshov Theatre at the Trafalgar Studios on Stuart Slade's play 'BU21'.
As an actress and deviser Jess has performed at the National Theatre Studios in The Idiots directed by Alexander Zeldin, Sealand Arcola Theatre directed by Luke Clarke. Beyond Caring The Yard Theatre directed by Alexander Zeldin, Romeo and Juliet Changeling Theatres open air tour, Two Gentlemen of Verona and Noel Coward’s Hay fever directed by Rob Forknall and The Alchemist’s Liberation at Vault Festival. Jess leads workshops at The Royal Shakespeare Festival at Royal Theatre of Den Haag, The Netherlands.
