Profile

Joanna Burnett has worked at Central since 2012. She principally teaches Acting, Audition Techniques and Shakespeare on the short courses. This includes summer schools, coaching individuals for auditions, and the Saturday Youth Theatre. 

Joanna completed the Workshop Leader Training Programme at The National Theatre. She works for them as a facilitator and trainer in communication skills, workshop leading and acting. She also works with Dramatic Resources focusing on businesses and developing communication technique. She draws on her performance background when working with professionals in developing their personal skill set. She also has extensive experience running performance based workshops for young people. 

Joanna is an actress in theatre, film, television and radio. Her experience ranges from The National Theatre and the West End, to television roles in Landscapers, The Capture Season 2, Bodyguard, Spooks, Extras and DCI Banks as well as various other dramas for the BBC and ITV.
