Profile

Adam is a Conductor, Composer, and Musical Director in London working on projects in a variety of musical genres. 

​Originally from Scotland, Adam trained at The University of Aberdeen specialising in conducting and composing. During his time in Scotland, he had the privilege of working with many organisations including The Citizen’s Theatre and Scottish Opera, among many others. He also was a visiting tutor at The Universities of Glasgow and Aberdeen.

​Since moving to London, Adam has been involved in a breadth of theatrical output including musicals, plays, and immersive experiences creating work in some of the most exciting venues across the UK.

Adam was The Andrew Lloyd Webber Associate Musical Director to The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama BA Acting Musical Theatre Course. 

​Adam is sought after as an educator and has enjoyed working with many organisations such as: The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama as a visiting lecturer; The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts as a Musicianship Tutor; The University of Aberdeen as the Principle Conductor of their Concert and Wind Bands; Scottish Opera as an Assistant Conductor to their Connect Education Company; The University of Glasgow as an Assistant Conductor; Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts as a Composer; The Arts Educational Schools as a Musical Director for their MA Acting course; and YMT as a musical director, composer and as their Musical Supervisor.

While studying at the University of Aberdeen, Adam was involved in the formation of the University’s Marischal Chamber Orchestra; Adam held the position of Assistant Conductor to this orchestra for three years, conducting several concerts both in the UK and Europe
