Chris has directed theatre productions at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester, Northern Stage Newcastle, Live Theatre Newcastle, Sheffield Theatres, the Everyman and Playhouse Theatres in Liverpool and the Unity Theatre, Liverpool.
In 2006 he was a recipient of the Regional Theatre Young Directors’ Scheme and in 2009-10 developed an Arts Council England funded artistic leadership training programme, in which he was jointly mentored by the Royal Exchange Theatre and the Everyman and Playhouse Theatres. He also trained within the National Theatre Studio Directors’ Programme.
Since 2005, Chris has taught and directed extensively for East 15 Acting School and between 2015 and 2019 was a permanent member of the teaching staff, teaching and directing for the MA Acting, MA Acting International and MFA Acting International courses.
