Profile

Stephanie began teaching at Central in 2008 after completing her MA in Actor Training and Coaching. She is an actor trainer and actress.  

She teaches on the Short Courses programme, including Acting and Text, Shakespeare, Improvisation, Devising and Auditioning. She also teaches, as a visiting lecturer, Sight-Reading and Auditioning to Central BA Acting and MA Actor Training and Coaching students.

Stephanie has worked in various actor training and performance contexts, including theatre with women offenders or women who are at risk of offending, and community film projects. She teaches at other drama schools and universities.

A teacher-practitioner, in her 30-year acting career Stephanie has played leading roles on stage and screen, from long-running characters in Hollyoaks and Emmerdale through to Shakespeare seasons in repertory theatre and roles in the West End.
