Ants crawl over cracked earth and rock

Devised

Performed by MA Music Theatre

Placement with MFA Movement: Directing and Teaching

Prometheus – hero and rebel of the ancient world, horrifically punished by the gods for giving the people the gift of fire, sacrificing himself to reveal truth and to offer hope.

In a new performance devised by the MA Music Theatre Company, we explore the political and ideological implications of Prometheus’ act and ask, then as now…

Are we worth the sacrifice? And what do we do with the gift once we get it?

This production contains foul language and there is strobe/flash lighting.
