Why Support Central

Founded in 1906, Central has nurtured and enriched the talents of extraordinary actors, practitioners and researchers for over one hundred years.

Why Support Central

Our alumni include established award winners such as Dame Judi Dench and Vanessa Redgrave CBE, to more recent graduates, such as Andrew Garfield.

However, we are not just an acting school; one of the many reasons our students choose to study at Central is because of the diversity of our courses. Around 30% of our students are training as actors, with many more training for other specialist work in the industry, such as stage managers technicians, teachers, outreach workers, facilitators and more.

Philanthropic support plays a vital part in achieving our goals for the future and maintaining our position as a leading and internationally renowned ‘Centre for Excellence in Training for Theatre’. By making a gift to Central, you will join other friends and alumni who together are having a collective impact on the future of the arts and help us to nurture the creative talent of the future.

If you have any questions about making a gift, please contact the Development Team.

If you are passionate about theatre, be passionate about its future.
