Suzanne Priest is a Midlands / London based dance teacher, movement tutor and movement director. After a career as a professional dancer performing in concerts, cruise ships, cabaret and UK Tours Suzanne forged a successful career as a teacher and choreographer in performing arts education. Positions have included Director of Musical Theatre and Technical Theatre at Birmingham Ormiston Academy (BOA); Director of Dance at The BRIT School and other leadership and creative roles related to the design and delivery of performing arts and movement related courses across the 11-19 age range. Suzanne choreographs youth dance companies believing all young people deserve access to highly quality movement experiences and training. Following extensive experience of working in dance and musical theatre, Suzanne is developing her practice working with a range of performers, actors and actors-in-training as a movement director and movement tutor, combining her passions for experiential anatomy, all forms of dance, choreography, contact improvisation, body conditioning and music. Suzanne is currently completing her MA Movement: Directing and Teaching at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
