Biography

Born in Puerto Rico, Karina Casiano is an actor, director and playwright based in New York and London. Holds a BA in Theatre from the University of Puerto Rico. She has further trained in diverse acting styles, physical theatre, dance and singing in the United States, Latin America and Spain. Casiano has written, directed and performed in 4 solo shows and 3 plays for her company La Criatura Theater, all of which have been staged in NYC and Latin America. She has also appeared on TV and film in the U.S. 

Skills

Movement for actors (individual or ensemble), directing and devising, spatial adaptation/site-responsive/immersive, contact improvisation, some contemporary dance, aerial and pole experience.
