Modern Dance & Theatre Teacher
Inclusive practice, choreography, devising movement for actors and non-dancers, stamina training, contemporary dance, Vinyasa yoga, musical theatre movement direction and choreography, historical dance, opera movement direction, Vagonva ballet trained and pointe, tap (basic), jazz.
Christina Fulcher is an interdisciplinary movement director and choreographer from California based in London. Christina’s passion for dance was ignited from a young age and she has continued to study in multiple disciplines to craft her movement forms including jazz, ballet, tap, Yoga, and contemporary dance. Her love of performing arts extended into acting and musical theatre.
Her teaching includes a variety of disciplines - movement, theatre studies, and dance. She brings positive energy with a myriad of experience as a director, choreographer and movement director to all productions. Christina is passionate about inclusive practice and completed her Performing Research project on creating pedagogical methods for teaching to be inclusive for all in actor movement training. She has extensive experience of working with performers and artists of all abilities.
Christina is interested in creating authentic movement integrated in productions that comes from the actor’s inner impulse. She is creative and works well in a variety of styles from Opera to Musical Theatre to Plays.
Christina is also philanthropic as the Founder of the nonprofit organisation, Shades of Pink Foundation of California, which provides grants to San Diego women experiencing financial distress due to breast cancer diagnosis. She has helped fundraise through grants and events over 100K to provide 75 San Diego women and counting with financial grants.
