Sarah initially trained as an actor at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. As an actor she worked with Harold Pinter, Dominic Hill and Tim Carroll among others and credits included ETT, National Theatre and the Traverse. In 2012 Sarah moved into directing and became co-artistic director of BAZ Productions.
Directing credits: Sitting (BBC Arts / Avalon / Gilded Balloon); All Places that the Eye of Heaven Visits (Shakespeare’s Globe/Westminster Abbey); Sweet Love Remember’d (Shakespeare’s Globe); dreamplay, Macbeth, Prophesy (BAZ Productions); Parallelist (Aldeburgh Music Festival); Further than the Furthest Thing (Young Vic); Reality (Oval House); City Love (Bussey Building); The Riots, Three Days in the Country (Rose Bruford); Zero for the Young Dudes! (Central School of Speech and Drama). Development work at HighTide festival, Finborough, Pleasance, Soho Theatre, Dartington Hall, The Globe and the V&A museum.
Sarah is currently directing Henry IV Parts 1&2 and Henry V for Shakespeare’s Globe.
