Profile

Olivia’s specialty in voice derives from a movement and theatre background.  She holds an MA in Voice from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and a Postgraduate Degree in Voice from York University Toronto, where she taught Voice, Speech and Acting Shakespeare in the Theatre Department.

Olivia worked for many years with the faculty at Canada’s National Voice Intensive where in depth study of movement and voice focused into performance of Shakespeare. This underpins many of the processes she now works with in helping people open and use their voice. As well as actors, Olivia teaches business professionals at Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto and storytellers at The International School of Storytelling, Sussex.

Olivia performs the epic story of Parzival and Penelope the Odyssey through her Eyes. Other work includes The Syringa Tree, a one actor play with 22 characters. She will act in a play she wrote, Akhmatova, at Park Theatre in 2019.
