Jake trained at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where he was gained a Distinction in Acting. He also trained with many of Jerzy Grotowski’s original actors at the Grotowski Center, Poland. He was awarded a Commendation at the Ian Charleson Awards for his performance in Candida (Oxford Stage Company).

Jake regularly teaches on the diplomas and evening courses at Royal Central and is Senior Tutor with the Young Film Academy.


He recently finished filming the lead in horror film The Masseuse.

Jake performed in Declan Donnellan’s highly acclaimed production of Cymbeline at the Barbican/world tour starring Tom Hiddleston and Gwendoline Christie. Other stage credits include: Six Characters in Search of an Author with Ian McDiarmid (Headlong Chichester Festival, West End and Australia), Journey’s End (West End), The Comedy of Errors and Titus Andronicus (Shakespeare’s Globe). Film and TV credits include: Bel Ami (Redwave Films), Family Tree (HBO) and Peep Show (C4).
