Jake is an actor and acting coach who trained at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where he gained a Distinction on the BA Acting Course. He also trained with many of Jerzy Grotowski’s original actors at the Grotowski Center, Poland. He was awarded a Commendation at the Ian Charleson Awards for his performance in Candida (Oxford Stage Company).

Jake regularly teaches on the Diplomas and Evening Courses at Royal Central and is Senior Tutor with the Young Film Academy.


Jake performed in Cheek by Jowl's production of Cymbeline at the Barbican/world tour with Tom Hiddleston and Gwendoline Christie. Other major stage credits include: Six Characters in Search of an Author with Ian McDiarmid (Headlong: Chichester Festival, West End and Australia), Journey’s End (West End), The Comedy of Errors, Titus Andronicus (Shakespeare’s Globe), The Winter's Tale (Sheffield Crucible), The Crucible (Teatr Piesn Kozla, Poland), The Hypochondriac (Liverpool Playhouse/English Touring Theatre), Hobson's Choice (Chichester Festival tour). Film and TV credits include: Bel Ami (Redwave Films), Beethoven (BBC), Family Tree (HBO), Peep Show (C4). He recently finished filming the lead in horror film The Masseuse (Doghouse Media).
