Profile
I am a sound designer and musician.
My music has been published on the Manchester/Berlin record label City Centre Offices, on the Cardiff-based Serein label, and on self-published limited edition CD-Rs. It has been used in radio features, television programmes and theatre productions internationally. I continue to maintain an active artistic and professional practice as a musician, and as a sound designer in theatre and dance theatre contexts internationally. I have toured extensively as the Sound Manager for the Canadian theatre company Ex Machina in Europe, North America and South America (Le Dragon Bleu/The Blue Dragon, Jeux de Cartes 2: Coeur/Playing Cards 2: Hearts).
I studied Theatre Sound Design at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (BA Hons.) and Digital Composition & Performance at the Reid School of Music, Edinburgh College of Art, University of Edinburgh (MSc).
As well as lecturing at Central I have been a guest lecturer at The Royal Academy of Art, The Royal College of Art and The Ruskin School of Art. I currently serve on the board of the Association of Sound Designers.
