Profile

Christina’s career has encompassed a variety of roles in music, the arts more widely, and in education for over 30 years. 

As CEO of the National Foundation for Youth Music (Youth Music) her expertise in widening access and community engagement brought notable success over 13 years. She now operates as a senior advisor and consultant in this field. 

Additionally, in non-executive Director roles, she focuses on sector engagement, audit & risk assurance, corporate governance, and organisational effectiveness.
A former Governor of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, she also served on most of the Board’s committees, including being Chair of its Audit & Risk Management Committee. Widening her field of operation, she was recently appointed a member of the Audit & Risk Assurance Committee for The Housing Ombudsman Service, and currently, she is also a member of the Audit & Risk Assurance Committee for UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). 
A viola player, she continues to be actively involved as a musician in her spare time.
