I trained on the BA Acting course specialising in Musical Theatre and I now work professionally as an actress in theatre and film. I started teaching on the Youth Theatre course in 2014. My approach to the course is that it should be fun, encouraging students to be passionate about theatre as well as learning valuable performance techniques. A lot of the classes focus on building students’ confidence in working as a group as well as an individual and I think that whether or not theatre is something they want to pursue in the future, they will be learning valuable life skills from the course.
Acting work since graduating has included; Gutter Press the Musical (Iris Theatre), Yes, but that’s not all (BASK films), Les Miserables (Working Title Film) and The Tempest for The Minnack Theatre.
