Profile

Abdul Bhanji is a former senior partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he was in charge of Business Development.  In a career spanning some thirty years he has advised a variety of media and industrial clients and continues to act as a Special Adviser to the Chairman and Senior Partner of PwC UK, as well as to CEOs of multinational organisations. He has co-founded an executive search firm, acted as Non-Executive Director at Whitehead Mann plc, and is a former Member of the CBI London Regional Council.

Abdul is especially active in charity and education, as former Chairman of The Aga Khan Foundation UK National Committee, Governor of SOAS, Member of the Marshalls Commission, Member of the former Further Education Funding Council for Greater London, and Trustee of the Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts. He is the University of London’s representative on the Board of The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. 

In 2017 he was awarded an OBE for services to Education and Young People
