Profile

Emily trained at RCSSD (BA Acting) and has been teaching at Central, since 2003, on a variety of short courses and summer schools including Audition Techniques, Acting Diploma, Shakespeare, Text 1 and 2, Introduction to Acting, Voice and Youth Theatre.  Emily has also sat on the audition panel for the BA Acting course.  Through 1:1 work, she has helped coach lots of aspiring actors gain places at renowned drama schools.

Emily has years of experience working in the Business Department at Central, helping people become more effective communicators.  Clients include NHS, London Business School and Met Police.

As an actor, career highlights include performing at The Royal Court, working with Sir Peter Hall, performing in the West End, devising the hit family show Stick Man with Sally Cookson which has been entertaining families for over 10 years and roles in BBC, Netflix and ITV dramas.

Emily also teaches at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and for The Speakers Trust and is proud to be a recently qualified Audio Describer, helping contribute to making the arts accessible to all.
