Alumni have been receiving nominations across the board for the annual BroadwayWorld UK Awards (2018).

The awards are given by public vote to celebrate thier favourite longest running shows and new productions.

Voting is open until the 23rd of Novermber.

Nominations

Best Choreography of a New Production of a Play or Musical on The Village (Theatre Royal Stratford East) for Polly Bennett’s movement direction (MA Movement: Directing and Teaching 2011)

Best Ensemble in a New Production of a Play or Musical for Emilia (The Globe) with Movement by Anna Morrissey and ASM, Anthony Papamichael (BA Stage Management 2018)

Best New Regional or Touring Production Shakespeare in Love with movement direction by Ayse Tashkiran (Co-Course Leader MA Movement: Directing and Teaching) with associate movement graduate Patricia Suarez (MA Movement: Directing and Teaching 2016)

Best Lighting Design of a New Production of a Play or Musical for Wasted  (Southwark Playhouse) with Matt Daw and Sam Waddington (BA Lighting Design 2006 and 2016)

Best Costume Design of a New Production of a Play or Musical for Lizzie Clachan (MA Advanced Theatre Practice 1998) with The Prime of Miss Jean Broadie (Donmar Warehouse)

Best Long-running West End Show Performer (Female), Gina Beck (BA Acting 2004) for Matilda The Musical 

Best New Production of a Play, The Inhertiance, Summer and Smoke, The Jungle for Sonia Friedman (Tech 1985)

Best Set Design of a New Production of a Play or MusicalRosie Elnile (BA Design for Stage 2014) for Returning To Haifa (Finborough Theatre)

Best Supporting Actress in a New Production of a Play, Cecile Noble (1988) for Nine Night (National Theatre)
