A two-day event exploring the power of arts festivals, connecting with local and global audiences and realising our creative potential. It is hosted by LIFT in partnership with Central’s MA/MFA Creative Producing students with inspiring and practical insights from pioneers of the cultural and media sectors.
The English language’s first professional female playwright’s masterpiece in a contemporary adaptation by the team behind Central’s productions of The Suicide, Mary Stuart and The Devils.
Translated and directed by Mike Alfreds, tragi-comedy The Three Sisters deals with the complicated relationships between a household and soldiers from an artillery brigade, with Chekhov applying a blend of sharp-eyed irony and compassion to their delusions and sufferings.
A showcase of final projects by MFA Scenography students from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama: Lingge Ma, Talia Sanz Vera and Francesc Serra Vila. Grounded in the live intersection of body, space, materials and dramaturgy, this event will feature performances, talks and installations.
Celebrating the work and accomplishments of the graduating design and crafts students specialising as prop makers, lighting designers, puppeteers, stage designers, costume makers, sound designers, scenic artists, and scenic constructors, before an audience of industry professionals and close friends.
