The legendary novels of Jane Austen have not only received innumerable stage and screen adaptations: her work has given rise to an entire cultural industry, fueled by the enduring popularity of her stories of love, family, fortune and society in the Regency Era. The Awakening of Cheerful Feelings Upon the Arrival of Single Men (of large fortune) takes the text of her novel Pride and Prejudice as the starting point for a kaleidoscopic, musical retelling of the tale of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy - one which takes an expansive look at all things Austenesque…

*Note: The performance on Tuesday 27 September at 2.00pm will be an open dress rehearsal. The performances on Wednesday 28 September will be filmed.

Tickets: £10 general admission / £5 concessions.

We aim to open the house 20 minutes before the start of the show. Seating is unallocated. Late comers may not be admitted.
