Creative Conversations: Naomi Ackie

Actress Naomi Ackie will discuss her role as the iconic singer Whitney Houston in Sony’s upcoming musical biopic I Wanna Dance With Somebody. She will also share her process on her BAFTA winning performance in Netflix’s The End of the F***Ing World.

Naomi is perhaps best known for her role of Jannah in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Recent credits also include Steve McQueen’s Small Axe and the British film Lady Macbeth for which she won Most Promising Newcomer in the British Independent Film Awards. Naomi is a graduate of Central’s BA Acting (Collaborative and Devised Theatre) course.
