Join Central's Puppetry students for a series of performances and exhibitions to celebrate World Puppetry Day.

World Puppetry Day (otherwise known as the best day of the year) is a celebration of all kinds of puppetry, from fancy National Theatre puppets to Freddie's hand puppets (come and see them) presented in dark alcohol filled pubs.

This year, in order to celebrate this glorious day, the following events are planned:

10:30pm-12:30pm: meet in front of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. Bring your puppets, costumes and a good sense of humour. We will cover 2km of marvelous Central London.

1:30pm: Puppet Performance 1: A collection of recent work by London puppeteers. Suitable for kids and grown-ups alike. Takes place at Central Bankside, SE1 9DU. Free entry!

6:30pm: Puppet Performance 2: Same as above, but strictly for grown-ups (or children with very liberal parents!). This show is also free!

Free entry. No need to book - just show up!
