We Are Now is a new London festival that celebrates hacking everyday technologies in performance arts, presenting unique, cutting-edge work that invites audiences to play, interact and create.
A partnership between Roundhouse and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, We Are Now provides a platform to support and showcase the most exciting emerging work in this field. In this inaugural year, We Are Now takes a focus on sonic art, sound, and performance that converges and subverts the devices you use everyday.
From 10th – 12th June at the Roundhouse, the Festival features live performances and playful installations by emerging international companies and up-and-coming artists from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London, HKU University of the Arts, Utrecht and the Interactive Architecture Lab from The Bartlett School of Architecture.
Audiences can also attend talks and workshops led by established professionals who are at the forefront of this new field of arts performance including differencEngine, Invisible Flock and Blast Theory’s Matt Adams.
