Theatre Design, Crafts and Production Open Day

BA Theatre Lighting Design - Lighting for "Andorra".

Central's doors are open to come and find out more about the BA (Hons) Theatre Practice programmes on offer.

The event will be starting promptly at 12.00pm, and please expect to be with us until around 2.30pm.

BA (Hons) Theatre Practice programmes:

If you're considering pursuing a degree in costume construction, design for the stage, performance arts, production lighting, prop making, scenic art, scenic construction, stage management, techincal and production management, theatre lighting design, theatre sound or puppetry: design and performance, this open day is an opportunity to investigate how these courses operate at Central.

Find out more about how study is enabled via practice on student productions, industry placements and mentoring from Central's permanent staff and extensive network of visiting practicing professionals. Take a tour of the campus, explore the facilities and talk to current students about their experiences on Central's Theatre Practice programmes.

Please note - if you wish to apply for BA (Hons) Acting, this event will not provide you with any information on your course of interest and no acting staff or students will be present. We also must make every effort to keep spaces on BA (Hons) Theatre Practice event free for those interested in pursuing the course. If there are no spaces left for your course of choice, contact openevents@cssd.ac.uk for alternative ways to visit the school.
