Join Archiving Practices tutors, Lior Lerman and Farokh Soltani for this free taster workshop.

This taster session draws on the Archiving Practices, Practising Archives unit of study, hosted by MA Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy, and taken every year by students from a range of MA courses. Archiving Practices considers a hot topic in contemporary scholarship and artistic practice: how archival materials ‘perform’ and contribute to our understanding of the world, and how such materials can form the basis of new performances and artworks. The session, which should give a glimpse of some of the work on the course, will consist of a seminar discussion and a group exercise (participants do not require any prior knowledge or experience as scholars or artists) on the ways in which we shape and are shaped by archives. The session will also be an opportunity to learn more about MA Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy and the other courses in the School’s MA portfolio.
