Kate Elswit is Reader in Theatre and Performance at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London, UK, and author of Watching Weimar Dance (2014) and Theatre & Dance (2018). She has won four major awards for scholarly publications ― the latest being the Oscar G. Brockett Book Prize for Dance Research from the Dance Studies Association.
