Sorry, this event has now passed
MA/MFA Performance Practice as Research

About the Event

The Brink Festival is an arts festival produced, ran and performed by students on the MA/MFA Performance Practice as Research course at Central. This evening offers an opportunity to find out more about Central’s highly respected MA/MFA Performance Practices and Research course with an introduction from course leader Dr. Experience Bryon, followed by a showcase of emerging performance at Brink Festival 2015 – performed by MA/MFA Performance Practice as Research students. There will also be a small drinks reception afterwards, giving you the opportunity to reflect and discuss with both Experience and the students.

The event will begin at 5:00, with student performances starting at 6pm.

About the Course

MA/MFA Performance Practice as Research (PaR) are courses designed for the 'auteur', the individual practitioner/researcher, working across disciplinary boundaries. Those with an established practice and/or background in performance theory take their work to the edges of their specialism(s) exploring untouched ground, establishing new ways of thinking about and doing performance, while pushing the boundaries of their discipline(s).
