Earthquakes In London

Written by - Mike Barlett

Director - Rolf Saxon

Designer - Bob Bailey

Venue - Embassy Theatre at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama

Performed by - BA (Hons) Acting students, working alongside students from the BA (Hons) Theatre Practice

Mike Bartlett’s Earthquakes In London is, simply, the story of a family. Bartlett’s three sisters, Freya, Jasmine and Sarah are very different people, but each in her own way a product of our time. Their stories, individually and collectively, illustrate the world we all share for a time and how we treat it and each other.

Spanning generations, this epic story is part myth, part parable, part cautionary tale, under an umbrella of magical realism and delivered via roller coaster.

By arrangement with Nick Hern Books.
