The Creative Voice

    Course fee

Work alongside our expert Voice & Communications Trainer to discover the fundamentals of voice and vocal technique.

On this course, we take our time to explore the production of voice from body language and posture, to breathing techniques, to building resonance and gravitas in your tone. Practical exercises will give a greater understanding of articulation, clarity, pitch, pause and pace. We will look at how to project the voice safely, and learn how to care for our voices effectively to avoid strain and damage. All this will be underpinned with the basics of vocal anatomy and how we support the voice through body alignment and breath. After work on using the voice to bring text to life, you will receive tailored feedback and tips to ensure vocal improvement.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Discover the fundamentals of voice production and vocal anatomy
  • Practice vocal projection and creating volume in a safe, healthy way
  • Bring text to life by practising articulation, resonance, clarity, pitch, pause and pace

Be Heard: The Creative Voice is led by fully qualified Voice and Communications Trainer. Group sizes are limited to 10 participants to ensure maximum impact and individual feedback. The course will run 10am - 5pm and is held at the Cervantes Theatre in Southwark.
