About the project

The public-facing Theatre Workings lectures bring a prominent practitioner into public dialogue with one of Central’s researchers. Dramatists Lee Hall and Mark Ravenhill, dramaturgs Dorinne Kondo and Stefan Bläske, directors Sean Holmes and Dijana Milošević, have all engaged in conversations about work in progress, the development of their practice and industry developments.

Some of our Theatre Workings events are framed as Central Interviews, a forum for public masterclasses and conversations that allow renowned practitioners to discuss how they work in ways that relate both to working practices and wider debates and discussions in the creative and performing arts. All Central Interviews are recorded and held in Central’s archive for public consultation.
