THE LONDON ARTS AND HUMANITIES PARTNERSHIP (LAHP)

AHRC FUNDED STUDENTSHIP SCHEME 2020

The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London, invites Expressions of Interest from students interested in applying to the London Arts and Humanities Partnership AHRC funded Studentship scheme (commencing in October 2020). In the space of less than a decade, Central has built up a unique culture of postgraduate research in all aspects of theatre-making and performance. We welcome applications in any of the following areas of specialization:

  • Applied and Social Theatre.
  • Directors’ Theatre
  • Choreography and digital humanities
  • British and European theatre practices (including playwriting, translation and adaption, and interdisciplinary work)
  • Theatre and cultural history
  • Curation and documentation
  • Performance and technology (technology in performance, and digital methods for the study of performance)
  • Theatre aurality
  • Film theory and film analysis
  • Theatre, politics and philosophy.
  • Transnational theatre
  • Queer performance.
